EMPLOYEES ENJOY ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Duraloy employees, retirees and guests recently enjoyed a
wonderful evening at the 17th Annual Duraloy Employee Christmas
Party. The party was held at the Scottdale Fireman's Social Hall
on Saturday evening, December 4th, 2010.
"We were really pleased with the large turnout again this year.
We had 195 total guests, including 25 Duraloy retirees.
When we introduced the retirees, we noted to everyone that, in
total, the retirees represented over 1000 years of service at
Duraloy!" said Duraloy's Vice-President and General Manager Paul
Rokosz, who also served as the MC for the evening. "Over
the course of the evening, we were able
to give away a gift to each and every attendee, as well as
holding drawings for over $6,500 worth of prizes, which included Penguin
tickets, Steelers tickets, and, of course - CASH." Rokosz continued.
In his opening remarks, Rokosz thanked everyone for the effort
that everyone made to make 2010 a good year at Duraloy. He added
our employees made
solid contributions to Duraloy's success, given the tough
economic times in the early part of the year.
Duraloy's President, Vince Schiavoni, also spoke to the group.
He also thanked everyone for their efforts in 2010. He added
that the second half of 2010 has turned out to be very strong
for Duraloy, and 2011 is starting off as another great year.
Guests then enjoyed a wonderful dinner (catered by Carson's Fine
Catering) of freshly carved smoked ham & filet mignon, baked
chicken, crab-stuffed cod, stuffed cabbage rolls, salads, potatoes,
vegetables, rolls, etc. For dessert, guests enjoyed an ice cream
station, loaded with ice cream and numerous toppings and
goodies, as well as our chocolate fountain, which has become an
all-time favorite at the party, with cream puffs, fruit,
marshmallows and pretzels, all available for dipping into warm
milk chocolate. Also included was a selection of beer and mixed
drinks. There also was a Frozen Daiquiri Machine that was well used
throughout the night! After dinner, a DJ provided musical
entertainment for the rest of the evening.
