Duraloy announced today that they
have successfully passed another of the bi-annual
surveillance audits required for maintaining their ISO
9001:2000 registration status. The audit was conducted by
Duraloy's ISO registrar, SRI Quality Systems Registrars.
Duraloy was originally registered to
ISO 9001:1994 standards in July of 1997. In June of 2000,
Duraloy updated their registration to ISO 9001:2000
standards by going through a rigorous, three day audit of
all quality standards and procedures.
One of the criteria for maintaining ISO 9001 registration
status are bi-annual surveillance audits, performed by the
ISO registrar. These audits review specific parts of the ISO
procedures and insures that the approved procedures are
being properly used and documented. At the completion of the
audit, the ISO auditor complemented Duraloy and the
employees for the thoroughness of their documentation and
the overall neatness and cleanliness of the facility.
The next surveillance audit is scheduled for late in the
summer of 2008.
